Perimeter: Emperor's Testament, Deluxe demo |
A brand new demo for the futuristic real-time strategy Perimeter: Emperor's Testament was released by Codemasters and K-D Lab.
Perimeter: Emperor's Testament is the expansion pack to the award-winning RTS Perimeter. The story of Perimeter: Emperor's Testament opens new pages in the Exodus history. Whereas the Spirits are on the way to their destination and the Harkbacks are seeking the mythical Earth, the Emperor builds up his Sponge Empire using automatic bases - his Vice Frames. He creates the Mechanical Spirit to help him discover new Worlds. One of the Vice frames starts the testing of this mechanism, this leads to the appearance of the super mind - Mechanical Messiah and the discovery of the parallel Chain of the Psycho-sphere Worlds. We also meet the "lost" Exodus Frames and find traces of the mysterious alien race. All these sides are in the middle of the deadly battle - who wins? The player will find out the answer during the 25 missions of the single player campaign. Aside from the extraordinary story, "Perimeter: Emperor's Testament" features new graphics, new buildings and units and a brand new soundtrack. The game also features 3 brand new multiplayer maps.

DEFCON, Patch v1.1 |
Introversion Software released a patch for their strategy DEFCON.
There are a lot of changes in the new version, but the majority of them are in the multiplayer mode, and especially – the Server browser. The number of players in any game is now rendered visually: Bright green box = human player, Dull green box = CPU player. Grey box = open slot, This makes it much easier to see at a glance which games are interesting. The Server browser no longer displays the version column (eg Defcon v1.0). The Server browser now displays the Game Mode in its own column. The Server browser will remember which servers you have joined recently. They will be drawn highlighted in your list, so you can see them at a glance. The browser will store the previous 10 connected servers, and will also save the list and reload automatically when restarting.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines, Unofficial Patch v3.1 |
There is a new unofficial patch for the hit RPG Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines by Troika Games, Activision and White Wolf.
It is built upon Dan Upright's great unofficial patches and is only intended for the English versions of Bloodlines. To install it the players have to extract this archive into their game folder keeping the directory structure intact and backup any files being overwritten if they want to remove it later. But reinstallation is recommended then. This patch attempts to fix many bugs and improve other things but no guarantees are made, since not everything could be tested. It can be installed easily on top of the official 1.2 patch from Troika Games. It is recommended to start a new game after patching to avoid odd behavior.
