 Traveller's Tales, Eidos Interactive and TT Games released a demo for their adventure game Bionicle Heroes.
Bionicle Heroes brings to life the most powerful and exciting LEGO characters ever seen in one game, in an action-packed world of adventure and discovery. Players take control of a young hero as he steps out of the real world and into the strange and dangerous universe of Bionicle. Only by mastering the powers and special abilities of the greatest Bionicle heroes will he be able to overcome the many challenges ahead.

 Ubisoft released a demo version for their adventure game based on the animated movie, Open Season.
Open Season allows gamers to relive the humor and adventure of the movie by creating a fun and deep interactive world that conveys the same comedic storyline, zany characters and artistic images projected in the animated film.
Open Season is a riotous romp in the great outdoors, where the rowdy brood of forest animals turns the tables on a bunch of unsuspecting hunters. When a domesticated grizzly named Boog gets lured into leaving the creature comforts of home by a fast-talking mule deer named Elliot, he finds himself lost in the woods just three days before hunting season. Forced to "rough it" in the great outdoors, Boog goes native, rallying all the forest animals to take back their home and send the hunters packing.
The Open Season video game allows players to relive the movie experience by playing as Boog and Elliot.

 There is a MMO client for the latest release of Golden Fairway, the golf game developed by MVP Network.

 A demo version is released for the strategy game expansion by LucasArts and Petroglyph Games Star Wars Empire at War: Forces of Corruption.
Beginning after the destruction of the Death Star, the expansion for Star Wars Empire at War introduces the Underworld. This new playable faction is led by Tyber Zann, one of the worst criminals this side of Jabba the Hutt. Leading his hordes of scum and villainy, he'll try to capitalize on the power vacuum created by the destruction of the Empire's most powerful weapon.
The Underworld has an entirely new set of abilities on the galactic map. Instead of worrying about military conquest to take control of planets, the Underworld merely spreads corruption by placing saboteurs and heroes on the planets they want to control. Eventually the planet will fall under the sway of Tyber and his gang. The players will notice the corrupt influence around the planet as a yellowish aura.
The game adds 13 new planets to the roster from the original. These new planets include fan favorites like Bespin's Cloud City, Mustafar, Mandalore, Utapau, Kamino and Felucia.

 At last Digital Illusions and EA released the long awaited demo version of the new Battlefield game Battlefield 2142.
The demo contains the Sidi Power Plant map that's playable in the new Titan and familiar Conquest modes. Players can choose between both the European Union and the Pan Asian Coalition armies.
The year is 2142, and the dawn of a new Ice age has thrown the world into a panic. The math is simple and brutal: The soil not covered by ice can only feed a fraction of the Earth's population. Some will live, most will die. In Battlefield 2142, players will choose to fight for one of two military superpowers in an epic battle for survival, the European Union or the newly formed Pan Asian Coalition. Armed with a devastating arsenal of hi-tech assault rifles, cloaking devices and sentry guns, players will also do battle using some of the most imposing vehicles known to man. Massive battle Mechs wage fierce combat on the ground, while futuristic aircraft rule the skies. When facing one of these new behemoths, players will need to use their wits and an arsenal of new countermeasures like EMP grenades to level the playing field.
Team play features allow up to 64 players to enter the action on the front lines as part of a formal squad, or work behind the scenes in Commander Mode to direct the strategic assaults of their teammates. With in-game success, players increase their rank and unlock awards, including new weapons, medals and more, delivering the most comprehensive and flexible persistence in the Battlefield universe to date.

Dominions 3: The Awakening, is the follow up to the acclaimed fantasy strategy game, Dominions 2: The Ascension Wars. While that game set the bar for rich, engrossing turn-based fantasy strategy gaming, Dominions 3: The Awakening seeks to raise it once more.
Leading one of over fifty possible nations in three different Ages, the players goal is to ascend to true godhood using all the power at their disposal. In a world of magic and steel the options to attain victory are as numerous as the cries from the vanquished foes. Whether they use military might, eldritch power, or subterfuge (or more likely, a combination of all three) every turn is about options. Recruit troops (more than 1500 units found in the game), assassinate the enemy, scout territory, research magic (600+ spells and 300+ magic items), perform rituals, do a blood hunt, storm a castle, construct, pray, forge - the list goes on.

 There is a new patch for the racer game by Supersonic Software and Codemasters, Micro Machines V4.
The strategy on the patch, as always, is to address any technical issues reported back from the public via the Customer Services Department or through the community on our forums. This update will fix the most commonly reported issues, including the graphical glitches experienced on certain NVIDIA graphics cards (The 'Artifacts' bug) and crashes to desktop upon exiting the title experienced on some systems.

 There is a new unofficial patch for the hit RPG Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines by Troika Games, Activision and White Wolf.
It is built upon Dan Upright's great unofficial patches and is only intended for the English versions of Bloodlines. To install it the players have to extract this archive into their game folder keeping the directory structure intact and backup any files being overwritten if they want to remove it later. But reinstallation is recommended then. This patch attempts to fix many bugs and improve other things but no guarantees are made, since not everything could be tested. It can be installed easily on top of the official 1.2 patch from Troika Games. It is recommended to start a new game after patching to avoid odd behavior.

 Interplay and Celeris released a new patch for their pool simulation Virtual Pool 3.
There are a lot of bugs and errors fixed in the new version. Corrected a problem where balls could drop through the top of the rail then end up floating in the air outside the table. Corrected a problem where cue ball on pocket edge moves to center of table. Using amplify during ball in hand allows moving the cue ball through other balls and if another key was pressed while moving the cue ball, it could be dropped inside another ball. Corrected sound bug where pocket sounds would occur when rails or table top was hit. Added a L (left) or R (right) to the left of players name for One Pocket to show which pocket the player owns. Fixed bug where Move Ball could not be remapped to mouse buttons.
